Has a certain smell ever stopped you in your tracks? Our sense of smell is a powerful thing and can bring a memory to life in an instant. Maybe it's a whiff of apple pie that takes you back to when you were a child, when the smell of your Grandmothers baking filled the air, or perhaps its the scent flowers that remind you of some perfume your mom used to wear. Nothing triggers a memory like a certain smell. For me it's the smell of balsam fir that bring me back to my childhood where holidays were spent at my grandparents' home, where I remember the love and traditions they instilled in me that I carry on to this day with my children and someday soon my own grandchildren!
My name is Amanda, I have been happily married to my husband Todd for the past 22 years. We have 3 beautiful daughters, 2 dogs and a cat and our first grandchild on the way. I first started buying Scentsy because my husband who is a firefighter did not want me burning candles due to the fire hazards they create. But I loved having wonderful smells throughout my home. Scentsy allowed me to keep those wonderful smells and keep my husband happy knowing there were no open flames around to start a fire.
